My best friend and I have been together for years!
We live on a small lake in Texas.
Its so peaceful here.
The spot we have on the lake has a lovely view of the morning sunrise
and the evening sunset too. We'll spend our day walking around the lake visiting and finding all kinds of things to get into! We have such fun together!
I don't know what we would do with out each other!

Till one morning when I woke, my buddie was not there next to me, to watch the
the morning sunrise!
I stood up and looked out over the lake, butI could not see him anywhere!

I waited all day for him, right there on our favorite spot. He never came.
That was the loneliest night I ever spent!

I got up the next morning and he still was not there!

I will stand here all day and look and look!

My Buddie is lost, where is he, O,God where is my Friend!
I hide my head, for the tears are many!

I sleep another night with out my friend!

I fear O God that I have lost
my best friend for  ever!

My Heart will be empty without him!

I didn't want to miss LiddleJo's challenge but I just havn't had time to work on it.  On top of that, I wasn't coming up with any good ideas for the challenge.  But then I remembered taking these back in December while we were on vacation in Destin.  This man was working on the condo complex where we were staying.  He brought his dogs to work with him every day.  They would never leave the back of his truck, which was usually parked directly below our balcony.  Really a well minded pair.  They were always Waiting Patiently.  And to show his appreciation, the owner of the dogs would come out ever so often, pat their heads, scratch their bellies and apply a little Puppy Love.

From friends to love.

Here's a picture I think I took yesterday of my new kitty. My New Kitty The manager of a restaurant I frequent went out to the parking lot and brought this tom to me. He was obviously put out of a home as he knew his manners and how to go potty and such. He also knows not to scratch or bite too hard. Good thing for a kitten so young. I'd guess twelve weeks, tops. I've had him for two weeks now. So far he's just an inquisitive food processor. My litter and food purchases have quadrupled because of him. He needs a name. And some sort of hawk protection.

 Here are a couple of friends, the one in the rear I heard saying; Hey! Wait for me

Speaking of fun stuff, we went on a Safari not too long ago and found a guide named Capt_Jack
Come on along, said Capt. Jack, and he lead us on into the Jungle_Mists
It was a different kind of jungle, it had all kinds of critters all together, like Hoppy here
But Capt Jack was partial to birds, so first he showed us this strange Duck Then this duck that beat it's wings so fast it looked like it had No_Wings
Then we got introduced to Flam Ingo who was busy Preening itself. Just down the pond was this really red Red_Ibis
Keeping it's eye on things was a very Coy_Hawk
Some of the critters just weren't interested at all

We stopped for lunch along the way and Indy had a hot dog Mustard_face, honestly, she did get some in her mouth too.
Then she needed to get to the_water to clean up but it was just out of reach.

When we got back on the trail we walked quietly because we didn't want to wake up mr. Sloth
Some of the critters were still eating their Lunch. This thing that looks like a Panda bear was attached to it was just eating_ants
And some just wanted to Go_Home I wish that I could have helped it do that.
Others were still resting from their noon_meal So, all tuckered out ourselves we left for the long journey home Home  

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Thank you for your patience in viewing such a long story and thanks to the Dreyer Park Zoo at West Palm Beach, Florida. Sorry Andrea, the tigers didn't come out well at all and they were behind a chain link fence which I couldn't get close to so I didn't post any.

It was friday evening of the 13th of july on a very full moon,that we got hitched and took off in a hot air balloon. We then went to Estes to play in the Rockies and pretend that we were western movie stars.Honeymoon in Estes Park Wanted for racy behavior We had the time of our life and almost got stuck in a rough and tumble world. Enjoy our romance that is alive and kicking and hugging and smooching today.

Marc and i went to military school together so i can talk about him like that.  Wally is 91 years young and loves the ladies as you will see. He is a regular where Candice works and now I have some real competition from the original Cupid. Wally smacks Candy Now he is staulking the boss,Yola. Wallys angel YolaThen on to Yola's sister Gosha  You behave now But guess who wins   Wally sneaks one in   God bless this guy because he is my hero.

Red roses are the traditional symbol for love and  Romance.
