I don't have a huge selection here, and was going to go shooting yesterday, and the day before, and this morning, but it's been raining and gross and COLD... so here i sit, looking through my recent photos for reflections. I havethis one, from yellowstone national park.  I confess, it's a couple years old, but... I like it for the reflections!  Then there is my  "Sun Spot" photo, taken last summer with my then fiance, now hubby as we were hiking.  It's got a couple big green spots, but I like it anyway.  Doubt anybody else will... but I do!  Besides, it's got this great crystal-clear image of the trees in the water...  And finally, from our honeymoon in Mexico.  It was the only gray day we had (excellent considering we were there while Katrina tore up the US).  This was one of the buildings on our resort that was still under "reconstruction" after Emily came through...

Hello again.  Due to winter and other circumstances, this theme just wasn't meant to be for me.  The artistic brain would not kick in for some reason.  I thought I would get in under the wire with this little reflection.  Seagull and I were out one day, when we thought it was going to be a wonderful spring shoot.  Well, we darn near froze our shutters off in the North wind.  However, we did find evidence of spring, as shown in this small river that has opened up some.  This little lighthouse is in the middle of the Blanche River in a park called Firemen's park, in a town near here.  That is it for my theme contribution.  Aw well, there is always the next one.

i've been trying to get some good reflection shots and work is boring so i have been trying to kill time.  i wasn't completely satisfied with my reflection shots, but i did get a couple that were okay.  mark's car gave me a decent reflection of the street out front.  then  waiting for photographica download came out pretty cool.  
i killed some more time by taking a shot of my desk.  outside when coming back from lunch, i shot the railroad tracks.  
time to go home and got caught by the damn  train.  one last shot of the  waterfall near work didn't turn out the reflection i was looking for as it was hazy and began to rain as soon as i got out of the truck to take it.

It was so calm this morning I had to shoot something... even though we've got a dull grey sky today.  And they aren't pretty, but they're so darn crispy clear...
I was late for work too. Doh!

I had the day off today, instead of my usual every other Friday,and If Wildman knows I have the day off he usually plays hooky with me.His girlchild came along and of course so did the four legged boys. We took a different trail to see Heron Pond where there were a few nice reflections. 1  2 3

I went out today to get some flower pics for Lilbit.  Not much variety in what's bloomed so far, but I wanted to see just what the lens would do.  I got some pics in parking lots, went to WalMart and took some, and thought I was gonna get thrown out of the grocery store for taking pics of their fruit!  They asked me just why I was taking pics in there.....like I was doing something wrong!  Anyway, here's some of what I took today.

I also got a couple of reflections shots.  Apples I went to get the oil changed in the Jeep today and "borrowed" one of the guys to get this reflection shot.

I love this place.  It encourages me to work toward something I'm not skilled at.  I was struggling with the reflection challenge.  I was shooting up a storm and.... nuthin'.  And then, I finally achieved a few that weren't great, but they were okay.  I hope you like them!

We finally had some sunshine today and I had a chance to get out and take some shots.  I am amazed the difference the new glass makes....oh, I LOVE it....1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
