Macro
This morning I tried my hand at macro--sure hope this is considered one and my hand not too shaky....we had just a little snow yesterday evening and here is a
sprouting bud as a reminder of nature getting ready for another season.
Have a great weekend!

GREEN......................

I took this a few years ago....
I love his expression.....it's like he is trying to deside if I'm too big to eat .

Stuck in the Middle with You

Note: If you are vain...don't use a macro lens and take photos of yourself. Pores! Nose Hairs! Blemishes! Discoloration! YIKES!!! Luckily, with the control of light and a little help of guassian blur I saved you all from the nightmares you may have had!
Bonus shot...I thought the mountains were pretty.
This post is lacking any and all redeeming qualities....

and quite loosely fits the Bi-Weekly Challenge ... so let me regress.... digress...
Bi-Weekly Challenge ( macro)
This evening i went out to capture our amazing Wisconsin sunset . While i was out Doug's dad brought over some homemade frozen beef enchiladas (macro) made by his mother. This was the first time i have ever had one and it was delicious.. sorry no pics were taken after they were baked.. we ate them too fast! lol
Have a great evening everyone... stay warm ... blessings,Ms Judi :)

Obsession

As I was driving home yesterday, I was blinded driving west into the setting sun. That's right kiddies, the sun was out for the first time this week. I decided that when I got home, I'd get my camera back out and try and get some shots with more light... not much since the sun was setting... but still. More light, which means more DOF... and hopefully better pictures. So here's some more macros for the challenge. Lemme know what you think (like I have any doubt you wouldn't).
Happy 'hump' day!
Macro challange; My tiny friends

Just for the challenge some macro shots I took.
I used my my speed light SB-600 to take these, not real good with the flash yet. I need to learn to set the white balance better too. But I gave it a shot. (the six Kids running around the house did not help either. Lol)
Well here they be kind to me. don't make it hurt too much. ;)
The last was for fun, Buddie likes to be in the middle of everything. ;)
Dewy Hibiscus

Dewy Hibiscus Taken during the time I worked in the garden center of a big box retailer. I never really enjoyed working in the garden center but I did enjoy taking images of the flowers and plants there. It never ceases to amaze me the color palette and variety of flowers nature gives us. Beautiful.
Rescue 9-1-1

I was trying to take pictures of Tricky's toys, which she interpreted as a hostage situation. I've never known any cat to be SO attached to one toy.
