Challenge: Macro

Don't know how to do this but was asked to do the challenge. So since we are mostly stuck around the house in the winter I quess we could get some macro or close up shots. So that 's what I picked for the challenge.

Taken yesterday, for challenge 2   a dead flower head

this was taken just about an hour ago. End of pine tree branch for challenge 3

these are from the spring and fall. So I quess you have an idea for the challenge

for challenge 1    for challenge 4

Now I have to check out around the house for my challenge shots

Sweet marco images. Nice idea for a challenge. It's been a while since we've had this one.

Your challenge doesn't start until Pablo's ends, fish... but I have it set so that it will transition from one to the other smoothly.

btw... This is my kind of challenge!

Ruth - did Les pay you a lot of money to pick macros? ;-)

These are great and it sounds like a fun challenge. I especially liked #3. I think the frame detracts from #4 a little.

I like a challenge.  Macros I can do, never posted any, but I'll try my hand at something new.

It's a whole other world out there, where's Queen Candice???

Very nice challenge, and well shot and composed pictures. This really should be a fun challenge.

Come on SG, I remember a very nice macro, OK close up, of a hibiscus taken withe that 6000mm of yours.

SG, I agree with MrQ - come on and get out of your comfort zone for this challenge!

    I'm confused - what's the difference between a macro and a closeup?   (BTW - I don't have a comfort zone!)
