I did this photo using a light table. The Bible is old and the glasses belonged to my great grandfather who passed away in 1972.IN GOD WE TRUST
This photo was also done on the light table. I fell in love with using the table when I was in photography school. It's one of my favorites.# Points of Light
This photo was done using a macro tecnique. I think it would make a great jigsaw puzzle. MACRO EMBROIDERY The last one waws taken of my friend Erica in the studio. We like to go there and goof off and see what we can come up with. I like it. It has an artsy feel.ROSES AND DENIM

I have really thought about what I wanted to capture for invisible & captured nothing that I thought of! I did spend the last two weeks at the city pool for my kids swimming lessons & found a few that'll do.
my son had just been there
here he iswell part of him anyway
looking through the window
and a bonus shot that really isn't invisible unless you count the lack of a life guard

Just developed an acute flare of gout, which will keep me off the hiking trails for a few days, and this is my Photoshopped attempt to make lemonade out of the invisible lemons. Don't worry, not too gross.

Thanks to all who participated in the invisible challenge.  I was really impressed by all the unique and creative ideas for shots.  I myself have been so busy I've barely posted anything... but I've been watching you!!

Here's my last little contribution to the invisible theme, taken at a local military cemetary.

Invisible Patriots -Resting
Invisible Honor -Force Field

Thanks again... and I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to see what Jump1ok has in store for us!!

I flunked!  Tried to capture the heat off a candle for the challenge.  It showed up on a test, but when trying to photograph it, nothing.  However, the flame (in the shadow) was invisible.

This doesnt really belong with anything else I have, but I really love the image of this abandoned Avocado fan.  They used to be used to keep air flowing through avocado fields.  I just think its really interesting with its color against the sky, and all its rust.Avo

 Collins Lake Circa 2006.

Latest trip with the 26 foot trailer we have...

We brought Matthew's cousins Roy and Raliegh to the lake. Those kids are inseparable. They brought the raft and went out waaaaayy across to the other side. I'm in the market for a zoom, still... I took my binoculars and put up to the lens. Here's what I got. That's the boys in that yellow raft!!! The two brown dots in front of the raft are Raliegh and Matthew's heads...theyr'e kicking in the water.Roy is inside!
As I was walking along the lake, a light wind picked up, and down at my feet fell a leaf.  I thought to myself that I gotta show my friends this leaf. Don't know why, but I was just inspired to do so. It is my entry into the challenge:gravity is the invisible force that we dont see , but see the reactions to it. Hope you enjoy them.

There isn't any great trick in finding beauty in a flower, so I just hope that I've not detracted from the spectacle that nature set before me. However, less noticeable but just as interesting is the “bokeh” that consumes the rest of this image.  Bokeh is the art of the blur.  For those of us who wear glasses this phenomenon is deeply frustrating in real life, but in a photograph it can be a spectacular canvas on which we set our crisply focused subject.  Blur allows that which is clearly visible to become beautifully invisible.  I hope you enjoy the flower and the blur.

First off, a little nature...Single File
I know, not quite single file. They're still young. They'll get the hang of it.

An organization I belong to,Promotional Products Association of Wisconsin, went to the  Brewers Game yesterday and saw them beat the Chicago Cubs. Tee Hee Hee! I had the pleasure of my daughter Pam going with me. We had a great time!

I saw this KayN inspired photo op at the game....Boys and Their Toys

While listening to the music in the park last evening, I was struck by the invisible Wind Playing in a Willow.

Man and Dog

While photographing a service in a small church in the outskirts of San Salvador I wandered outside and found this man sitting on a ledge and listening-in.  I motioned to him that I'd like to take his picture.  He nodded his approval and sat-up in the most dignified manner, straightened his shirt and prepared to be photographed.  After a couple of pictures he pointed to his missing eye.  He spoke no English and I spoke no Spanish so I never heard the story, but didn't really need to.  We held each other's hands for a moment longer that what would be a handshake and each said "gracias".  I doubt he could know how moving that experience was for me.

I'm not sure why he chose to listen-in rather than "attend" church, but for some reason he prefered to remain invisible.   Invisible

The days come and go. (i'm back)

It's 8 months later, and I am surrounded by new horizons: I'm a College grad, diploma signed by none other than the terminator himself, with his first 'career' job and first apartment on his own.

I've seenchanges in the scenery fade away to invisible states each day since I moved further east. I'm in a new state. It's vastly different from the urban sprawl of the Los Angeles Valley. I feel though I'm participating in a sociological experiment every time I go to a store.

Won't be long now. I'll have the internet at home. I'll have day trips around the state. I'll have new horizons to share with you all.

A Flock of Seagulls, Geese, ducks, and a turtle

The geese were in rare form this afternoon.   Someone had messed with them and they were not happy at all.  It was not the duckwho sat pretty and admire her own reflection in the pond. Or the lonely little
duck who was being a good ducky while chasing Mr. Turtle.  It could had been the  Invisible Photographer that had the geese all in a temper tantrum.  The other animalscame to see what all of the fuss was about.  Even the duck and the turtle stopped their play for a moment.  The seagulls started to swarm and fly around the other birds and animals in the park.  Even the turtle decided to leave the scene.  Mr. Turtlehad a  better place to go.
