Challenge: Pain and Suffering

Special thanks to our favorite Mistress for the last challenge.

We all have experienced Pain and Suffering. We are introduced to it at the moment  Popup Link of birth. We then spend the rest of our lives searching for it and avoiding it.
We avoid it because of its inherent unpleasant nature. We search it out because of our need to connect and identify with our fellow man. The very sight of another suffering ignites something in the very recesses of our soul that compels us into some form of action.
Pain and Suffering will undoubtedly bring up disturbing thoughts, do a little research and you find a certain necessity behind it. The stories of pain and suffering are contained in every religious text, every myth, and every great novel. Every great thing is born from pain and suffering.
Popup LinkDoctors profit from it
Popup LinkSometimes it is hard to see the cause
Popup LinkSometimes watching others experience it is funny
Popup LinkSometimes we do it alone
So look to the bright side of this challenge. Have FUN with it.

Nice thumbnail and photos. Without black there would be no white. Pain and suffering are neccessary and have always brought me the best things in life. Looking forward to this. Thanks.

This may be tough for me also... I have a high tolerance to pain, in myself, and even more so in others. Barb is sure to trip and fall in the next two weeks and if I can stop laughing I'll take a picture. Great idea, jump! Would a wedding picture qualify as pain and suffering? MM, thanks for the invisible power challenge it was fun, except for losing a little moustache.

I am really going to have to think about this one. I like what Pablo said about and I heard once an old saying that you can only have as much joy as you have pain or sorrow. Thanks MM for the invisible challenge.
