As always comments and constructive criticism is needed and appreciated. Thanks for looking!
Went to park last weekend...it so amazing how Gabriel is so fascinated with every little thing...I guess we can all learn from that:)
Tried to keep my eye out for curves this week. I saw these. Do you see them too?
First, thanks to Pablo57 for his - Joyful Symmetry - Sept. 11th Tribute Challenge. I enjoyed viewing the images that everyone submitted. Second, I want to thank him for giving me the opportunity to present the new challenge.
Almost everywhere we look, we see curves. The word “curve” may be a noun, verb or adjective. And that is the straight truth.
Where do we see curves? Here’s where I found a few.
I found a curve in the
pages of a book
And in
architecture
Also in what I wear
my boots and
hat
I found curves where I
drive and where I
walk and rest
I found curves in nature, e.g.,
seed heads and the repeating curves of the
hosta leaf
I saw curves in a
wine bottle
And in the dim light, I enjoyed the curve of a very
sexy waist
So, my challenge to you is to find and shoot curves. Show me curves of all types. They are all around you, and in places that you never noticed.
Since the reason for the challenge is to get your creative juices flowing, experiment and improve, please post only pictures that you shoot AFTER the challenge was presented. If you have an image in your archives that you think fits the challenge, go back and shoot it again. Be creative at all times, and think about composition, perspective, depth of field and lighting.
Now get out there and shoot!

I had a little time to take a ride and some pictures before packing up to come back home last weekend. I found some curves, steam and colors to share with you. The sun shining on the wires and chains in "Misty Morning" should qualify it for the current challenge

I haven't posted in a long time and thought I would post some pics for the challenge. So, here they are.
This is was taken while waiting for my daughter to get out of gymnastics training one night.

Being a poor photographer I tend to search for subjects close to home. Tonight however I found out just how rich I can be. I hope that these images convey just how amazing this night started out.I was doubly lucky, not only was the night amazing, it was incredibly curvaceous too!

The lighting in these images changes color some, I was using my simple point and shoot and was altering the white balance to change the look of the scenes.
The moon was full and the inlet was awash with gentle waves. The boats rocked gently in the light as the clouds sailed over them. The moon was a beacon to weary sailors and romantics, warning of rocky shoals and treacherous passages. The moon sailed through the night, oblivious to us all.
Go soft into that gentle night, dreamers and lovers, sail into the misty clouds of imagination.

Nature can be just as destructive...maybe worse than anything man can do. Here we see where the lava meets the road.

With the challenge in mind i saw this while taking a hike. a road i've traveled on since i was little...i love this time of year!

not sure what it is , just know i liked it. maybe a mushroom or some kind of fungus
I shot this fun picture at a wedding just the other day. This young girl was crawling around the floor totally bored and grabbing the flowers from the tables. So I asked her to stop and show me her flowers and this is what I got!I call her Pansy Girl.
