tonite @ work i took a break to watch the moon rise. this helps keep me sane??
Have just not felt like trying to do anything--a few minutes ago my husband came to me and said--come outside and try to take a picture of this moon--so that is what I attempted to do--and then just did some cropping.Sure hope no one comes down witht he flu during Christmas.
I only cropped, adjusted contrast, straightened one and sharpened a couple. Thanks for this theme, Kerry! I've really enjoyed it! I know my pics of the hawk aren't as good as some have been on here, but I'm proud of them.....I've tried to capture one for years and God finally saw fit to let me do it this morning! Woo-Hoo! What a morning!
Hope y'all enjoy!
Here's a great solution for a good picture that isn't all that great.
A friend caught us in this moment just before my husband changed into his tux for our wedding. It's one of my favorites of that day -- except for, well, all the stuff around us.
Original. So, first I "cleaned up" the cabin -- who wants the trash can and a pot of slaw in a wedding photo, right?
Retouch 1. Next I decided to focus on what made this such a good pic - our moment. So, out came the blur filter.
Retouch 2
Retouch 3
Retouch 4. And finally a bit of cropping

What do you like best?

I've been nervous about posting self portraits. They just seem so revealing. I think it's like hearing my voice on a recording...I never like what I hear. I'm going to take a chance today. These are the first two before versions:

On these next two I've adjusted levels and saturation slightly. I've also blurred the background just a touch.

Finally, here is a
