2 in 1` Hana and prayer request

By BusyB1965 written 1/1/06 7:39 AM, published 1/1/06 7:39 AM

Late yesterday afternoon I was informed about a young girl (age 21) who was killed in a car accident Friday night--the car she was in was struck by a drunk driver--she was killed instantly and her boyfriend is critical.  The young girl graduated from high school with my grandson and as a young girl (up to her mid teens) she attended the church where we go--she had just graduated from college this past spring.  Please remember her family in prayer.
Finallly got to take Hana out again--you might say someone one else came for her Popup Linkhand on top of car please, then she was put into the Popup LinkBack Seat, but finally she got to make her one  Popup LinkCall.
After being set free Busyb let me go on a Popup LinkPlane ride , look, I am Popup Linkpeeking out the window.  You know what, there was a  Popup LinkRooster in the plane.  Man, this beach is something else.
I didn't get to stay long at the park but was able to Popup LinkSwing for just a little while.
Yesterday morning BB took me to the top of Popup LinkSmoky Mtn and saw this pretty view, oh, there was also snow at the top of the mtn and saw this little  Popup Linkboy having a good time--too cold for me so BB would not let me play with him.
Last night BB let me see this beautifull  Popup LinkSunset before putting me into this  Popup Linkbox to be sent to sunny CA.

Chistmas thur a childs eye

By mwlutz written 12/31/05 10:23 AM, published 12/31/05 10:23 AM

Well when I was a child I always knew it was chistmas when I saw Popup Linkangels in the front yard. I would dream of Popup Linksanta coming to see me. I always knew his Popup Linkelfs would be working hard to load his sleigh. I would always like for the family to come over and we would watch Popup Linkfrosty and play games. I do love the memories of Chistmas.

My granddaughters were over again today and when Oma got the camera out they had ideas of what I should take pictures of.  They had been playing with a puppet that we lovingly callPopup Linkthe pig and they like to pretend Popup Linkit's eating me.  They also had it Popup Linkattack Oma's bear.  Then we played a game of Popup LinkMexican Train dominoes.  Courtney won and Oma really Popup Linkneeded help.  They also had their snowmen from last year along and they needed a picture also.  It was so interesting to here what they thought I should take pictures of and they had to check each one out after I took it.

I've been taking a lot of pictures of Popup LinkTheron lately.  He got new Popup Linkglasses and looks just Popup Linkadorable  in them, so I used that Popup Linkopportunity as an excuse to take more Popup Linkpics . . . not like I really need an excuse, though!

Luckily the theme is "through the eyes of a child". These are pictures of my niece and my son. This is how my son feels about Popup LinkChristmas. On Christmas eve they watched  Popup LinkFrosty, read  Popup Linkbooks, and tried opening  Popup Linkpresents, before falling  Popup Linkasleep under the tree. In the morning my son didn't know what to open  Popup Linknext. We hope everyone's holidays are  Popup Linkwonderful.

I'm Back!!!

By JackInTX written 12/25/05 7:37 AM, published 12/25/05 7:37 AM
I'm back! A few months back I had a 'confrontation' with a Cadillac as I was crossing the street; needless to say, the Cadillac won! Anyway, I've been out of commission for a while but here is my first posting since my recovery, taken with my new Canon EOS 20D, courtesy of the Cadillac owner's insurance company!! This is not exactly 'through the eyes of a child' unless of course, you think of your pet as I do: a member of the family. This was taken after a strenuous morning opening gifts and chewing on ribbons! You can only imagine what might be going through Popup LinkNikita's mind! I hope to have many more pix posted as I learn this new camera, but as they say in show biz, you can't lose with a pet or child!

It's not Christmas without Thomas

By Lidljo written 12/24/05 9:13 AM, published 12/24/05 9:13 AM
On our Grandson's second Christmas we bought a little plastic train to put under the tree.  Ever since then - he is 17 now- that train has been under the tree.  Last night we had our youngest Granddaughters overnight, and when they saw that the train was not under the tree they went to the basement and convinced Opa to put it under.  Then we has to have hot chocolate and milk - the girls are very different even though they are twins, and they went to bed in the T.V. room so they could watch a movie.
