My first post, a intimate moment between a mother and her hungry chick. Hope you enjoy it!
Winter Simplicity
This is my second post here at Photographica. I spent the whole morning taking all kinds of shots here in Stockholm, and this is one of the pictures that I came up with. I "tumbled" the pictures in PS and out came this Simplicity.
Hope you like it!

First time posting.
I hope I am doing this right. I love to take photos of nature. Flowers are my true weakness but I also love the abstract structures you can find in nature. Here are some of my favorite flower shots.busy bee

I'm also not sure it belongs in the Portrait category, but it's 'about' a person and it didn't really seem to fit in any of the other categories, either....
It was shot it Shanghai, China, early one morning in a public park that I stumbled upon during my wanderings in the old French Concession area. At one end of the parkway were lots of people waltzing in small groups to music coming from a tape recorder and just past that, there were 4 or 5 older men, writing chinese characters on the cement walkway with large brushes and cups of water. Their messages dried and faded away almost as soon as they finished making them....
I read very little chinese, so I have no idea what any of this means, but I call it shanghainese graffiti

Have a good rest of the week!

1st Day
It was my first day snowboarding of the year. None of my friends were able to make it up. It was me, two bologna swandiches, and a couple inches of fresh snow in the Northstar parking lot.
