Wow, I haven't done this in so long I've almost forgotten how! Some shots for the challenge...these were taken at our local Fall Festival. I worked at night when it was open, so I went up during the day, hoping to get some eerie, creepy carnival shots. I wouldn't say they fit that description, but hey, I like them anyway.

In the town of Rocheport, Mo this old railroad tunnel still exists as proof that the Missouri, Kansas, Texas railway (MKT KATY for short) once passed through this mountain.  The tracks have been removed and the rail bed is a bike and walking path now known as the Katy Trail.  I included a B&W for the challenge.

  Hope this looks ok I did it on my laptop.  It's the Double Arch in Arches NP and the tiny figure at the bottom giving me the look again, is Barb.  The look was for me starting back to the car after she walked all the way out there.

  We always have a blast together even though we didn't get to do some things we were wanting to.  The scenery is every good adjective you could think of and we even had an unforgettable experience early yesterday morning... some aspects of I've been sworn to secrecy on.  Hope to explain later.  Sorry, Wildman, I failed on both challenges...part of the unforgettable experience. ha ha

Vacation pictures in black and white.

Went up to Lake Okoboji (Iowa) on vacation, the site of the ‘Spirit Lake Massacre.’    They have small park commemorating this event.  The following pictures are from that park.
