A day in a life...a youthtime ago
Spent many a lunch time, evenings and weekends parked around, driving through and eating at theDairy Queen Whether it was cruising town, racing down backroads, or gathered in someones pasture laughing and talking the local country station blasted from our speakers.
Summer Tuesday nights found us at "Dollar Night" at theBaker movie theater.
My best friend and I learned to work on cars, while pumping gas and changing tires atMain Street Mobile
A favorite place to swim and fish was from the old wood plankBoggy Creek bridge

A day in Marseille
After cycling for a couple of miles in Marseille, and taking a relaxing walk around La Plaine, I decided to take some pictures of the graffiti paintings around, so I took 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 pictures of graffitis. In the end, the only problem was that the escalators to go up where not working, so I had to take The stairs..
By the way, I liked how the light passed through my african banner, so I decided to share
A Day in the Life of a Student - Part 2
Thank you for the wonderful comments on the first half of the pictures. I am working on a slide presentation for Parent Teacher Conferences which comes in a couple of weeks so this just helped it along.Earning Marbles For Good Behavior has helped me in the classroom a great deal this year. They earn marbles for good behavior, but also loose marbles for uncooperative behavior. Every child has a notebook for Journaling which they do often and for almost every subject.
There are always Worksheets to do on almost all the subjects also. Gym Class is the favorite class for most of the students. They are taking a test on doing sit ups in this shot. Here the children are Measuring mass of an object.
Science Class has to be very accurate and they are learning to be good investigators. Social Studies right now is dealing with a lot of map skills, and learning what their orientation is on this earth. Stopping For a Drink on the way in from recess is a necessity. Classroom Treasures , each child has these three items close at hand - a book, a water bottle, and their tennis shoes.

Bi-weekly challenge: A Day in the Life
Oh, ok, I’m awake, let’s go. Hey! Wait! It’s dark out here! Well, if we got to go, let’s go. Actually, it’s not so bad, it fairly light, with smooth, flat roads, nary any traffic; but that wind chill! I mean it got to be at least…Hey, what’s that! It looks like a party! Aw, can’t we stay? That fire was really comfy. Did I say it was light? Now you expect me to go through there? There might be some monsters or maybe even a… oh made it. Finally, a resting spot. At least there are some flowers to look at. Maybe I’ll take a nap, (yawn,) yea, a nap sounds good.
You went and left me out here all night, in the dark, alone! And it rained! Now I’m all wet. Let’s go home and jump into a warm, soapy tub. What now! This isn’t the way home dry boy! Oh! The scenic route. Yea, I like it, but let’s go back to the party. Oh, oh, looks like it got out of control. Let’s, go home to that tub. Well, it’s not a tub, but at least it’s soapy!

Children Arriving and Unloading stuff their belongings for the day.
Handing In Homework is the first thing the children do.
Then they take care of Ordering Hot Lunch.
Waiting For Sticks to be Picked When the children are answering questions often teacher picks sticks to make things more fair.
Sharpening Pencils is something every child has to do throughout the day.
Sharing Our Treasures is a highlight of the day.
Before writing in our journals we take time to Check on Teacher's Comments.
Classroom Patience is something that we have to have throughout the day - it always takes a lot of time for teacher to answer all of our questions.
