I for one... need this challenge. Although challenge implies working at something, and I need to relax. I'm trying not to stress over finding inner peace in the season of peace. But I'm gonna think of it this way... Once I get the shot... I will return to it often and let the cares, woes and stresses flow off my back like so many raindrops cascading into lovely pools of refreshing essence. Ok, ok, enough of the flowery flow of prose. Peace yall.

    - go take some pictures you

Ah, inner peace...not to be confused with outer peace which I virtually never find. In the world of chaos, this challenge should help to identify those spots that get us away from it for a while. I loved your examples (particularly meditation and hermit). Thanks to Ash for all the beautiful weather everyone showed us--glad Ms Judi sneaked in the first snow.

    - learning never ends

Wise choice of a challenge! The first shot is simply wonderful like the fire shot with the horse head and hoof or is it hoove..you know the thing the horseshoe goes on! lol Sorry mom...she tried so hard to learn me right!

    - Say...CHEESE

  • msjudi
Wonderful choice for the next challenge... we all need to some place to give us some inner peace... mmmmmm this one could be quite interesting... ;)

Photography brings me inner peace. Having a camera in my hands and the act of looking thru a viewfinder and composing a shot is an inherently peaceful process for me, because it's one of the very few things I do in my life that is just for me. So this is a great idea for a challenge, because I need some alone time right about now...

    - f8 and be there...

Have to ask my inner child about this. Humor, sometimes gives me inner peace. Ask the Dalhi Lama. Great challenge Andrea. I find inner peace everyday when I awake, seems I lose it each night when I fall asleep. Nice examples, mesmorized by your meditation photo. Been thinking about this lately - There is a scale that is used to classify photos. Can't think of the scale's name right now. The scale rates photos on the "wellness" or "inner peace" people feel when looking at them. Crachet's photo of the green field in eatern WA would rate very high on this scale, also most of Rockey and SG's photos. It is a proven scientific fact that viewing highly rated photos will increase your wellness.
