Going through old pics, scanning them for something to do, and found these. Both represent speed, one from the seat of a Popup LinkYamaha, and the other is a pic of clouds rolling in at high speed, taken from the top of Popup LinkMt. Mitchell.

They've been draining a pond near my house, so I've been going over there every so often to see if I can get some good wildlife photos (lots of egrets and cranes). Unfortunately, those birds rather skittish. But have been able to get a few others.

Out on a small island which I was finally able to walk to, you can find three or four Popup Linkduck eggs scattered about, sadly unhatched. Or maybe they are Canadian Goose eggs, I'm not sure.

We just returned from a nice day of sea and surf when we took a peek of the beach from our room. This shot was snapped and I think it turned out rather well. Popup LinkMemorial Sunset on Panama City Beach

Wow...

By hersultryways written 5/27/02 5:00 PM, published 5/27/02 5:00 PM

I was outside for the first time since...forever because my cousin was here to drop something off, and while I was heading back into the house, I spotted my grandma's plants under her window. I saw this really pretty rose on there, and it was...BEAUTIFUL. All the others had wilted already from the hot California sun, and this one just stood there. It was so pretty. I was going to take the whole bush so you could compare them, but I had to go back in the house, so here's the single rose: Popup Linkclick to see. Tell me what you think. :D

I snapped a Popup Linkportrait of my grandmother while out to eat. I tried a new technique and some different camera settings, so I'd really appreciate it if anyone had any feedback on this picture.

Out for a walk tonight, I happened past the Saks store. The mannequin displays were rather colorful and the lighting worked well, so I took a few shots: Popup Link1, Popup Link2, Popup Link3, Popup Link4 & Popup Link5. Placed alongside my last post, I think I'm starting to fall into a habit of photographing representations of people. I guess they seem to stay still a bit longer than real people do, though Popup Linkthese two guys wandered by and were perfectly willing to hold their poses.

I was going through some of the first pictures I took with my camera and pulled out two of my favorites: Popup Linkeightball and Popup Linklighter.

In more recent pictures, I thought this Popup Linkspider was cool. I was scared to death taking the picture, but.. it was worth it.
