Thanks Moose!

what happened to 6? my d50 is 6.1 mp :)

Wow! Job well done, Moose. Quite a bit to digest at one sitting.

This took a lot of time and effort and it shows in your 3 part presentation....thanks........wow!

btw for who ever wants, there is a plug in for windows that allows you to resize by right clicking a image to any size mentioned above, if you would like to recieve that plug in plz PM me.

Moose, thanks for taking the time to do these articles, and in plain english as well. All three were extremely helpful to a little newbie like myself.

kikker is that the Power resizer from Microsoft?

Sorry for a Nikon 6.1 MP the Numbers would be: 6 2000 X 3008 240 8.3 X 12.53

Moose, this is a terrific tutorial. Great series all around--well done!

Ah ah ah Kikker, You didn't read my Article. I warned in the third Paragraph, Not to use the Windows Re-sizer, While it is a tool that is very simple to use, it reduces the file size to Too small a file and at that size, in my tests of it, it introduces Artifacts and that is just what we are trying to avoid in this series that Cory wanted

Im sorry then!! ill try to read the whole thing next time! i did now! but what is it that is wrong with it? didn quite get you.

Actually for the most part it works fine and it certainly is great for people E-mailing Pix. It is just you don't have as much control over things and while it works good it just might not be optimal. ( In my tests I saw more distortion around edges using the Re-sizer than I did using Photoshop)

the 2 pictures that i just uploaded with the Panda Bear face was resized with the windows tool! i dont see much distortion. but yeah ur right that some times it compresses it and u can see distortion! but at work i just use PS cs2! tha best!

That's Why We Call Him The SUPER MOOSE...WELL DONE, Sir!!

Thank you for taking the time to explain these concepts in everyday english.
