Peace Across the Northside

We attended the Peace Across the Northside rally tonight in North Minneapolis. A drum corp provided some entertainment. Oh yes, there was also a fawn. The kids were impressed. It was great to see all sorts of folks turn out in the interest of promoting peace. And it sure was nice having my camera back.

Nice pics! Love the shot of the drummer.

Peace is what this world needs. Throughout recorded history less than 30 years can be described as without war. The last hundred years being the bloodiest....

Beautiful set. I'm impressed as well!

Nice set and great cause. I like folks. The gathering of people getting to know each other is what it's all about - and the children seem to stand out in that picture. What an excellent message for the future generation

Bet you feel like your got your right arm back....wonderful set. Really like Peace across....

Nice clear pictures. Love the drummer.

Excellent shots of a community drawn together. Well done.

Glad you got your camera back. Great photos for a great cause. PEACE!!!

Not just your right arm back but your eyes too....that is what I feel like without my camera...eyeless... Great series....I wish their were more things like this down here in the south. Thanks for sharing on here...to remind us all.

Nice photos and post. I liked the sidewalk drawings which contrasts the war to the little children all over the world, possibly in war zones.

I like Peace, Tom, reminds me of my hippie days back in the sixties, also Fawn like the little girl looking up at the guy on stilts, Like the drummer, Heck I liked about all of them I guess, Peace being my fave. Folks though looks like Dad is going to get walloped, at a peace rally!

Nice shots I like the look of drum corp.

Nice set of photos!

I like this set. Peace!

The last photo of the chalk is a beautiful picture with a beautiful message. All are fantastic shots. Promoting peace is such a wonderful idea. :)

I really like these shots. You captured so much character in just a few shots. Nice work.
