robin, that first shot is one of the finest fall shots I've seen all year - great colors and composition and the patterns of the leaves on the ground are very nice. Me like mucho.

Very well taken. I like how on the first the two side trees direct you to the center of the picture. On the second the rock attacts my attention first, then quickly shifts to the leaf where it is held - neat effect.

I like the soft colors on the first one -- something different that the bold colors in most fall shots. The leaves shot fell a little flat for me.

But as beautiful as the fall trees are the leaf is going in the other direction, If it had some of the color in the leaves that are on the ground in the first image it would make for a stronger image, but this leaf just lacks a lot of impact as just plain brown ...
