new lens at casino
got a new Canon lens, a 24 to 70mm f/2.8 L series lens. Was undecided between the Tamron and the Canon, tamron was $300.00 cheaper but the reviews were better for the Canon so I went for the Canon.
These pictures were taken with my Canon 5D MKIII which has no pop up flash so pictures were taken without flash, wanted to see what camera and lens could do in that very low lighting. Did have lighten up the shadows a little. Not much though.

These are great inside casino....the casinos I have been in do not allow photos--the winnings look familar, but sure bet you had a great time....

Real good, low light photography. I'm guessing these were taken at night?

Mack, yes there was hardly anyone there. Could have any slot machine we wanted. All the casinos in Laughlin NV let you take pictures inside. If a sign is not posted I always ask if I can.
MrQ, not taken at night but it is still very dark inside the casinos. In fact when you come inside after coming in from the daylight you have to give your eyes a few minutes to adjust to the low lighting
very happy with the new lens and what it can do

Nice set I like the flashiness of the casino :) I am drawn to bright things.
Interesting set, I like it. The first one drew me in.
