Ruth, sure can relate to this and not very much hiking have I done---don't remember, what size lens are you using...
fish - maybe a path with slightly less elevation and slippery rocks might be in order. ;-)
Is that a break-a-part tri-pod?
Just remember, for every foot climbed, you'll have to go back down a foot, and that is the killer.
You're absolutely not!
Mack thanks for the encouragement.
Bee the lens is a lightweight one, a tamron 18 to 200mm, got this lens just for hiking trails like this.
No Mr.Q those are shoooting sticks which I had bought for hunting, but they sure work great as hiking sticks and yes one time up at Zion it sure came in handy as a monopod as the top unscrews and you can screw your camera on it.
Dub the one thing I hate about this the most is those darn pesky little gravel rocks. They are like ball bearings.
Dear Ruth (fish),
I don't think there is such thing as to old :) From all the photos you take it looks like you really enjoy Hiking. Keep having fun and taking more photos. Some of the photos that I have seen are stunning!!
Amelia
PS Do you like taking bird photos or more landscape ones?
Amelia, like them both, bird and landscape but sometimes the birds are too far away to get a good picture. by the way I am not good at taking people shots. Was joking with my friend about going into business and I would do the outdoor shots and she would do the people portrait shots which she is very good at.
