I,like Candice, love Mrs Murphy's barn, which is old and wobbly like Mrs. Murphy, but still emits old and beautiful energy of days gone by.Popup Link1 Popup Link2

We have had plenty of rain so the drought is gone. A stop at Ct. College Arboretum on an overcast day was beautiful.

My wife,Candice, loves photography and has been shooting since 1980 when I first met her. She is drawn to explore inside flowers, nature, and children, especially Benjamin our three year old, grandson. We often have different shooting perspectives, and playful competitivness, but I have great admiration for her abilities. On this day she was using a 70-300mm on a D-70. We happened on a beautiful horse farm, stopped and asked permission to take a few shots. These are Candice's images.

Bittersweet memories of Britt

Don Lowes emotional post about his Dad brought up memories of my 38 year old son,Britt, who died 2 yrs ago in a paragliding accident in Tahoe city, Ca. He had a grand flight up to 15,000 ft.for 2 hrs. Wind shear collapsed the craft a few hundred feet up and he fell from the sky.
Britt lived a wonderful life and pushed  the envelop often. He ski patrolled at Alpine Meadows, rescued many and skied 200 days a season.
My son was a very fine carpenter in the off ski season. His loves were flyfishing, rafting, music and guitar. He loved to play and dance at canyon concerts with all his ladies all at once. Sorry, I am drifting down Britt lane. Well, here some old but fun photos when he was just a little guy ans so full of life.Popup LinkBritt Flying Popup Linkbritt kick right at me Popup LinkPigskin kid1970 Photos are ancient now but still wonderfullove of adventure.
