Upper Antelope Canyon

Decided to give Pablo's challenge a go.
I confess these are from a trip in October, but just went through them again and put a few through Lightroom.
To go to Upper Antelope Canyon you need to hire a Navaho guide because it is on the Navaho Reservation. It was very crowded, lots of tours going through as well as photo tours, which we were on. You had to shoot high enough to go over heads but low enough to keep from shooting the sky and getting blow outs.
A cable release and tripod are necessary for the long exposures. ISO between 400 and 600.
Thanks for looking and have a good rest of the week
Winter Ducks

They're used to people and being fed by humans through the winter.
If you have cracked corn it's usually easy to get some close shots with the camera.
They were more skittish than usual so I didn't get the detail shots I was looking for with the 105.
Have a good week and thanks for looking.
Feel free to say what you want.
Best of 2007 STILL LIFE

Have fun everyone!!!
Feathers

Waiting for him to play hooky and go xc skiing.
I've been collecting the parakeets feathers and finally decided to play with them and the 105.
I was cross-eyed by the time I was finished.
Thanks for looking and have a good week.
Fall

And the Glow on reeds that surround Little Pond.
Took Oakley on a long overdue walk to Beaver Pond for a swim this weekend, here's What's left of fall at Beaver Pond
Have a good night and thanks for looking!
Uploads never used

Thanks for looking, feel free to say whatever you want to.
Simplicity

As always, thanks for looking!
Macro Stuff

This drop looked like it was getting a
hug from the tip of the leaf.
Found this spider waiting
for lunch.
Here he is again ready to pounce
The bee was lucky and got away, left the spider hiding out for it's next try.
Have a good week and thanks for looking!
Can I take your picture?

At one area I was on my way to the car when I saw some tourists that I wanted to photograph. I usually don't take pictures of people I don't know. I planned on sneaking up on them to get a shot of them with their backs to me looking at this Vista
As I hurried to the car to change my lense they got up and slauntered to their rides. I got up the courage to ask them to go back where they were, so I could take their picture. They seemed suprised but willingly got off their bikes and posed themselves like this Three Harley Dudes.
Not the picture I had in mind, but it was how they wanted to be.....
We continued on our way meeting up every so often at another over look.
Just a bunch of tourists enjoying the beauty of Utah.
Hold on to your camera Pt 2

The time booked was
This ended our workshop on a grand note!
When we landed we high tailed it back to the conference room where the others were waiting for us to start the group slide show and then off to dinner with everyone for the first time together.
Thanks for looking again!
The thumb is a pictograph, it's painted instead of carved.
Hold on to your camera! Pt 1

I causally mentioned the email to Wildman. Told him I thought it would be pretty expensive, probably wouldn't want to spend the extra cash.
Hell no, sign us up right away before all the flights are taken......
I had the greatest time!!!
It wasthrilling
awesome breath taking
And I'd do it again in a second!
Our flight was the last to take off for the day. Not yet sunset, the lighting wasn't the best but who cares it was wonderful.
I think it would be fun to learn how to fly one..........
Fisher Tower

Well if your part of a photo workshop you take pictures of Fisher Tower.
Then you go back to the hotel and party in the conference room!
Pull it in to 400 1
Back off a bit 3
Add the Colorado River 2
A sliver of The Moon and Jupiter
