I was afforded a wonderful opportunity to go into the park on one of the four days where folks can drive the entire 92 miles back into Denali National Park. We drove four hours in the pouring rain in the middle of the night to get there. It continued to rain driving into the park. I began to silently think to myself this was going to be a wasted trip but then the sun began to rise. Then the light began to shine through and she appeared, the mighty Mt. McKinley.
It was truely a beautiful sight. Along the way we saw a few critters.
You could see the beautiful Fall colors.
This shot makes me think of mocha coffee Mocha Mountains.

What a beautiful place....went with my Son....most of the shots are his. From the advice of folks on this site we I purchased the canon 17-40L to shoot these.
