So my hubby took me to Rochester for my birthday bcz he knows I love old cathedrals and castle ruins. I took some great shots of both (if I do say so, myself) and managed to upload some on Monday (though the problem has returned) So here they are!
Saturday was my nephew's 2nd birthday and so I made this
little collage on my rinky-dink photo editing program. He's just such a cutie! I love him to bits!
Memorial Weekend (though it wasn't Memorial weekend here in Englang, we still had a 3 day weekend) my husband and I went to Margate to visit his parents. While there, we visited Canterbury and the Cathedral there. I haven't been able to upload the Cathedral photos yet but I got
this one on. I like the contrast between the fake castle playground and the real Canterbury city wall in the background.
We also saw the Shell Grotto
(my husband and his mother, Hazel) in Margate, which is very neat. The walls are just
COVERED in mosaic sea shells.
In addition, I got to see the
White Cliffs of Dover. Dover is where the ferries go between England and France since it's the closest point to Calais.
Well, hopefully I'll have more luck and you'll see more photos tomorrow.
Things have been busy around here (and I'm having some trouble uploading some photos onto Photographica). My parents came for a visit all the way to England from california and luckily my in-laws were able to see them.
Don't have much time to type, I'm at a family gathering, but wanted to upload my pics. Hope you like!
Although these are some sign shots, I'm not posting them for the bi-weekly challenge bcz I'm told that the photos should be new ones taken specifically for the challenge and not previous photos which just happen to match the criteria. But I thought I'd share these nonetheless.
I personally love to photograph architecture. To the point that it frustrates some people bcz when I went on trips to London (before moving here) I took pics of the architecture instead of myself and my then boyfriend (now husband). Oops, lol. So here are some faves of mine (though only one is of England).
So here are a few shots that are DOF (if I understand it correctly). Hope you enjoy!
Hey, I'm new here so I thought I'd post some of my older pics I've taken. I was looking through and forgot how much I liked some of these.
