Rochester, England

So my hubby took me to Rochester for my birthday bcz he knows I love old cathedrals and castle ruins. I took some great shots of both (if I do say so, myself) and managed to upload some on Monday (though the problem has returned) So here they are!

I don't know why but today I can upload pics. Weird considering nothing has changed in how I do it... But let's not jinx it!
Newest Hobby I finished this in 2 days!
Reading Hubby We went to a church picnic yesterday and this is what my husband did... just kidding, he's so much more extroverted than I. I was knitting the whole time LOL.

I'm still having a problem uploading photos onto Photographica (it is going really slow and then just shows a "Cannot find server" page no matter how many times I try) but I got these on at least.

Saturday was my nephew's 2nd birthday and so I made this little collage on my rinky-dink photo editing program.  He's just such a cutie! I love him to bits!

Memorial Weekend (though it wasn't Memorial weekend here in Englang, we still had a 3 day weekend) my husband and I went to Margate to visit his parents. While there, we visited Canterbury and the Cathedral there. I haven't been able to upload the Cathedral photos yet but I got this one on. I like the contrast between the fake castle playground and the real Canterbury city wall in the background.

We also saw the Shell Grotto (my husband and his mother, Hazel) in Margate, which is very neat. The walls are just COVERED in mosaic sea shells.
In addition, I got to see the White Cliffs of Dover. Dover is where the ferries go between England and France since it's the closest point to Calais.

Well, hopefully I'll have more luck and you'll see more photos tomorrow.

Things have been busy around here (and I'm having some trouble uploading some photos onto Photographica). My parents came for a visit all the way to England from california and luckily my in-laws were able to see them. Here they are together.
My father-in-law came by to make "boerwors" which is a South African sausage that you don't link.  Here he is stuffing it with my sister-in-law.
This photo was actually taken by my father on an earlier visit of my husband and myself at Rainforest Cafe and I really like how I tweaked it.

So I was perusing through my image selection and saw that I have several nice sunrises (and one sunset) that I have yet to share. So why not go for it? The sunrises I took when arriving early (obviously) to school one day to study for what would be a rather heinous mid-term exam in Nutrition class. The sunset was on my way home from a roadtrip to see an out-of-town friend.

Although these are some sign shots, I'm not posting them for the bi-weekly challenge bcz I'm told that the photos should be new ones taken specifically for the challenge and not previous photos which just happen to match the criteria. But I thought I'd share these nonetheless.

Architecture-BWC

I personally love to photograph architecture. To the point that it frustrates some people bcz when I went on trips to London (before moving here) I took pics of the architecture instead of myself and my then boyfriend (now husband). Oops, lol. So here are some faves of mine (though only one is of England).

Hey, I'm new here so I thought I'd post some of my older pics I've taken. I was looking through and forgot how much I liked some of these. This is a shot of my cousin's winnings in Vegas as he was receiving them. I call it Ghost Money. In Vegas, I was too young to drink or gamble at the time so I just took some shots that I thought were interesting. LV Fountain  The Strip  Las Vegas Flash Flood
