Me and my wife took a drive up Mt. Evans once again.  Fortunately for us, the mountain goats were out in force!!

It's been a while, so I decided I need to gt out and take some photos.  First stop was the office building where I work.  They have lots of land and lots of animals like to call it home.  Pulling into the campus, I saw a golden eagle sitting in a tree.  As I started taking pictures, it  took flight.  As we drove around to the back of the campus, we saw these two looking for prairie dogs: Friends.  One sat there long enough for me to get a good close up: On the lookout.  On the way home, I stopped by a bison ranch and saw this big guy: Eating grass.  I think I need to get in to the office more often!

I got home from work last night, and couldn't resist taking this Sunset from my bedroom window (yes I took the screen out).

Yes, I took they day off yesterday and decided to head out and see what I could find.

First stop was half way up Clear Creek Canyon (West of Golden, CO)

Slightly further up the canyon, I ran into these two playing King of the hill. One of them was playing Hide and Seek.  And yet others were just Laying Around keeping an eye on me.

Later on, I couldn't resist taking a picture of this .big guy looking down on me.

Mt Evans is one of my favorite places to take a drive.  You never know what you'll run into...Often, you'll find someone begging.   Usually, there are others watching .  Just be careful at what you're looking at..the natives might just !stare  you down.  If you get too close, the children will look for some safe spot to watch you from.  Parking is a bit hard to find...might just have to use a handicap spot.  After drinking a lot, it's very important to take a potty break...I just hate it when there is a line.
