I was driving home and knew that the sky must have looked beautiful... it was that crazy orangeish hue that surrounds everything and makes you feel like you are in a dream world. I kept trying to look at the clouds, but decided that paying attention to the road was probably a better idea. When I pulled into my court I finally got a view of the clouds and was in awe. I sped to my house, flew up the driveway, and ran inside for my camera. When the clouds look like this, you only have moments to catch it. I didn't pay much attention to taking great shots, I just wanted to capture the moment. I still wish I caught them earlier, since the colors change so much, and I would have loved to have pictures of all the phases of the colors.

I often think of Caesar as Mr. Personality... his attitude is ever changing, and his unique personality always shines through. Sometimes he can be very serious. Other times he can't help but get a little wacky!

These are my favorite pictures from a trip to Las Vegas last year. I love horses, so of course had to take a picture of the pegasus statue at Caesar's Palace. I was being rushed (lots of other tourists walking in front!) so I quickly snapped the shot. Turned out to be my favorite picture from the whole trip! Another one of my favorites was at the Aquarium in Mandalay Bay. Another rushed shot, that turned out to be better than any pictures of the fish! Statue pic.  
Not the best picture, but one that shows one of the reasons why I always stay in the Luxor pyramid... The View!

One of Caesar's favorite things to do is keep watch of the house. This is his spot. I think he looks so peaceful. He is very serious about keeping watch, you can see it in his eyes.

I hope I did this right! I think this is such a neat community! I love photography, but haven't done anything close to professional. My main subject is my dog Caesar, so I'll start with a few of my recent pictures of him in the snow.

Being part husky, he adores the snow! He loves to catch snowballs, even if they fall apart before he can catch them. Here he is asking me to throw one. Here he is on another day, in an open field near our house. It was a good try, but still a miss!

I did the thumbnail wrong for the last one, so if anyone can tell me how to fix it, (or anything else I did wrong) I would appreciate it! Take care and keep up all the beautiful work!
