Wanted to pay tribute to a trusted friend I lost today at the age of 15.  The one that stayed close when I was sick, the one that stomped his feet across the hardwood floors when he ran and the one that purred softly all the time.

I hope everyone has a little Magic inside of them, because I know how lucky I am to have had him.

We put up the first part of the Christmas lights!

Went to get my kids off the bus today and this bee hive is right next to the bus stop!  

Pretty interesting!

I'm looking to buy another laptop for my photography.  The one I have is nice but I need one with a better resolution on the screen.  I'm not getting true colors.

I Apple the one to go with?  I have limited experience with one but from what I have hear they are the one to go with.

I was getting ready one morning and spotted a great opportunity of an abstract shot! Then I took the best part of it and cleaned it up and got the second abstract.

Who can tell me what it is?

Anyone who likes to hunt knows that opening day for hunting season is supposed to be a national holiday!  This is definently the case in my family.

After a day of four wheelin' we went to see our new property and decided on our future home site!

We had a blast!

We went to Shreveport, LA this weekend for my older daughter's wedding.  We stayed at Sam's Town and I caught some really neat reflections! Then we hopped over to the Hollywood Diner and saw a very cool ceiling.

After that we headed to the wedding in Texarkana where they had a really nice  buggy and my younger daughter loved the horse!

We couldn't find the bride at one point after the wedding and low and behold she was over in the corner  cooling down because it was so humid and hot she was about to cook under that dress! She went inside and enjoyed the cake with her husband and once the sun went down the  couple had a wonderful time!

My older daughter is getting married on Saturday and my younger daughter is in the wedding!  Boy, is she a  beauty!!

This morning I went down to our town square and took some shots of our old library and our gazebo.

The city just remodeled the square and added some  fountains and I put a close up of the water drops.  It also has a  Texas Historical Marker.

Good evening!  I was sitting on campus at University of TX at San Antonio enjoying the landscaping and the warm weather.  Then I headed home to see two of my babies and I could hear Diamond through the door waiting to greet me.  I picked him up and boy was he happy I did! :)
