I have always liked sunrise and sunset shots. Here are three that I hope you like as well.

2. I changed direction on my walkway like this.Wood and paving blocks.
   
3. I found this pleasing texture in the rain forest.Lush green leaves.
   
4. Minerals have many textures.

5. These weathered out of an old lava flow in New Mexico. Chalcedony Roses

On my property there is a little house outback.Little House . Its not what you think though. It is a pump house over my well. At the right o f the picture is a little red pot with blooming Nasturtiums (not easy to spell).Nasturtiums . At the center is a blooming RododendronRododendron. Behind the house is blooming Scotch Broom, a noctous but beautiful weed.Scotch Broom .
Often folks mistake my little pump house for the one they remember at their Grandma's place. This one, however doesn't have a crescent cut in the door or a plank bench inside with holes cut out to sit on.:-)
