Water Texture
This attempt was unsuccessful and it turned out to look more like a glass wall
Historical Buildings
Ok, I admit I'm the one posting all the low quality shots. I happened to be lucky to travel around a lot for the past 3 years, and Europe is such a great place to take photos as everything is so different there. Here are some more of them. Don't look if you crave for sharp images.
Taken from the inside of a fortress in Portugal, you can see the
castle wall and trenches.
A
fortress situated on the south coast of Portugal.
The building in the background is the famous
Palace Versailles.
This might look like a boring building, but it's the
first slave market in Europe. Here is the trivia question for you, anyone knows where this is?
Finally, a structure like this will always
stand the test of time.
Lingering Spirits
These aren't great photos, but just a few to show those eerie and famous deanths in the past, and while enjoying them, I feel a chill coming up my spine...
Taken from Palace Versailles in France, here is the last
Queen's Bedroom where Marie Antoinette escaped from before she was captured and beheaded.
A
grave built underneath a cathedral in Portugal. Watch your step!
The
scaffold at the Tower Bridge in London, where some of the most famous people were bloodily executed (or murdered). See the list of the famous
victims of those unfortunate souls who might have died of injustice.
Romance in Portugal
A trip to Portugal proved to be more romantic than spiritual. We only covered the south part of Portugal and although, the beaches don't beat the Caribbean's, cathedrals don't outshine the ones in London, but the preservation of the raw, simple life of the past has its very own character.
The camera used was in fact a mini-DV camcorder, so the images have very low resolution (~ 2 MP). These were what I could do best at the time given with the equipments and no knowledge of photography. I just wish to share some of these with you just to inspire your next trip idea.
