    I've been dabbling in photography since 71'. Always going back to school to see what's new, but it's been awhile. My preference is B/W, but I do have fun with the Photoshop filters. I also prefer the wet room to digital, but I don't want to become a dinosaur. Most of my images are things and places, but I have taken a few people.

    Learn, teach, experiment, enjoy and don't be over critical.  

  • Camera Equipment

    Shopping again. Sold my Mamiya 645 ProTL and my Canon T90, but I have a few film scanners left which I'm going to use to transfer my celluloid film strips to CD's. That should take a year or two. I may pick up a Canon digital soon. I hear they are pretty cool with interchangeable lenses. I'm currently using a Sony Digital Mavica 100 with the 3 1/4 floppy and 128MB Scan Disk. It works for now.

  • Favorite Photographers

    There are several. Among them, Ansel Adams, Annie Liebowitz, Edward Weston, Dickey Chappelle, Cindy Sherman, Dianne Arbus and Dorothea Lange. I have seen excellent work in some of the members portfolios here too.
