    Have always enjoyed others photography but when I first started trying many many years ago I didn't have much luck, so i gave up.  It was expensive and I didn't seem to have the knack.  Then over the last couple years I have taken a few nice shots, shall we say accidentally.  I was taking a snapshot and it came out really well.  I started thinking more about it.  My Dad in the mean time had been getting into photography and he gave me a few tips and I saw his work which I thought was pretty good.  My old camera recently died and I decided to step up to something a bit nicer.  Now I have this new camera and have been snapping pictures of everything I can see.  Of course my friends don't really want to look at them all so I started looking for an online community.  Everyone here seems fairly nice, critical  sure but not mean about it.  Here I am.
