Night walk

When I shot this first image I could have sworn that this was a duck, but when I opened the file a home, it was a stupid seagull . I can't be getting old, it must be the horrable viewfinder on the Digital Rebel. (actually shot on a different night walk the week before)

I found this church, which in Wisconsin style, looks like it worships snow. An upside down icicle  with a snowflake on top.

I'd like to say I don't have a fetish for backhoes , really. They are just usually in cool places at night.
Towards daybreak I liked the light in this alley .

After, I went home and tried to sleep in the stupid hot weather.

Sherman S&D

In WW2, the  Sherman wasn't the most powerful tank in Europe, and most of the crews knew it. The M4's strengths (other than the obvious of being a tank) were its reliability,  and its mass produced numbers. The determination came from the crews that drove them .

No matter how tough a tank is however,  nature finds a way.

Hi all! I have been reading and enjoying the posts and pic's for awhile, and decided to jump into the fray. Ok... not Jump, dipping my toe in I guess with a test post.

This was taken a few years back, so wouldn't be under the S&R theme.

I was out shooting one night, and I came across this backhoe in repose . Night and fog are wonderful things.
