The fudge is now ready to be packaged.  The tree is up and Callie is cozy.  The decorations are in place.  Now to finish the shopping and wrapping.  If I don't get tied up in ribbon and tape, there will be more pics later.

I wasn't sure if I would have colors to post this year or not. The drought and warm weather delayed our color change.  Some neck issues and fusion surgery a couple of weeks ago have also been a factor.  Hope you enjoy what I did find and shoot.

I love black and white photos.  I just don't shoot or process them very well.  This weekend I spent some time really working toward making them better.

What do you think?  I really do want your advice and opinion.  

We have been teased lately with cooler nights.  Fall is finally on the way.  I am ready.  So is the pampas grass. Due to the dry, hot summer, many trees are giving up early.

I reviewed some shots from last fall to get ready to shoot this year.  If we have any color, I want to do a better job of capturing it.  Since the shots were RAW I gave another go at the pics with a little HDR processing.  

Fall 1 HDR  It brought out a lot more detail in this shot.  I like the results.

Fall 2 HDR  I also managed to remove my neighbor's ugly storage shed from this shot.

Once again, I am trying to mimic some of the shots I've seen.  CanonFodder is so good at these.  Looks like my white balance is off and the flash is too strong.  What suggestions do you have for the next shoot?  Please comment/critique.
