This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding ceremony at the beach in Cape May.

My assistant (my husband) and I were the couple's witnesses! And also, turns out, hehe, we saved the day. The wedding almost didn't happen. Whew! It was a close one. We waited at the 2nd street Pavilion and the officiant was late. Really late. So we spotted some local cops and found out from them, that the officiant wouldn't be able to perform the ceremony there because she was actually the mayor of another township, so she was at another nearby beach. My husband and I told the couple to jump in our car and we got them to the other beach just in time! The officiant was about to leave! The bride was in tears. Wow. It was my first wedding nightmare story haha... but it all turned out ok! They were such a nice couple!

Hi. No picture today - just a little excitment that I need to get out or I'll go crazy.

I have decided to try it on my own in the world of professional photography. Heh, perhaps I am still far from "pro" but... I hope to be able to get there. I was never meant for office work I tell ya...

Anyways, tomorrow I am shooting my VERY FIRST wedding. I have done six weddings as an assistant to another photographer, but this is my first one by myself. The first of seven that I have booked for the next few months. I am SO EXCITED i want this day to end already and I want tomorrow to be here. I can't wait!!!

I assisted a photographer tonight at a BEAUTIFUL wedding on Long Beach Island. It was my very first time, and it was so much fun. More than ever before I feel like THIS is what I want to do for a living. It was awesome.

A word about this site - I have ordered some prints, and they came out WONDERFUL. Amazing! I'm very happy with them :)
