Since High School, 1997, photography has had my full attention. I used to run around the bush(when I was very young) and see things no one was willing to explore for. I was blessed to have such a variety of wildlife around my childhood home. I had a camera way back in yr 7, 94. It was a fully automatic Hanimax(or close to that). I was unstoppable.....running aroung taking photos of just about anything. Eventually this camera got run over by the family car. Years passed, the camera had been replaced by a ball of any description. In 1997 I chose Photography as a school subject. I needed a new camera but I had no money. I asked all my family members (it's very extended). My Uncle Paul, who was a wedding photographer at the time, came forward with great pleasure with his Mothers 40 yr old Canon QLFT. It was perfect. Not only was it fully manual but it took the clearest photos I had ever see (I was young, people). I will never doubt the Canon Lense. So, black and white photography swept my life. I would stoke up on film so I could work to and from and AT home. Then race to the darkroom to explore the techniques. My mates and skated, so I took on the that test as well. I fell in love with action shots. The more we would skate the more I wanted to take photos.....setting up wicked jumps or drop offs and eventually finding the perfect angles. We went on ski trips where I found out that I am made for this. I will add more one day....for now I'm sick of typing and need a break.
