I found out very quick that sunsets force you to leave that auto setting comfort zone. Even with a lcd it's hard to tell just how precise your shots are coming out. I shot a whole 512mb card to try and get the best representations of the ever changing Key Largo sunset you are about to see (all manual)...I hope I did it justice.
Decided to go out and try long exposure last night about 11:30. I know it isn't the greatest ones of all time but I think it's kinda cool. It's really hard getting a good angle in a (flat)town to pull somethig like this off. I ended up on the 4th story of a parking garage extending only one leg of my tripod so the other portion(legs) hung over enough to take the shot. Ended up getting ran off by some rentacop-looking-cityofficial cop. Saying "We can't have people up here." Here I am on a saturday night having some good wholesome fun and I get busted by the cops. It just happened to be the Parking garage for the DMV. I'm thinking to myself hey I practially own this garage I pay my taxes. Anyways...Oh yea this might fit into the theme, the lights on the cars are "traces in time".
Finally leaped into the lcd monitor era today...Went and bought a 17". Ran out to my dads to brag about it and take a few shots to see on it for the first time... didn't come up with much...
Didn't even plan on stopping at the horse park, just saw the sign on my way to find other things to shoot...something made me turn...well heres what happened..
Outside smoking when this hot momma decided to pay me a visit...
