Biography

I have been a Girl Scout Leader and Outdoor Trainer of Volunteer Adults in DuPage County, IL for many years. This has brought me to a great appreciation for nature. I like to capture digital images of the natural world, but also love to use film.

Although my photos are taken mostly for enjoyment, it is a dream of mine to someday have them published. I was the president of the camera club in high school (back in 1969!)and was the photog for the school newspaper as well as having some "artsy" shots featured the yearbook... I guess it may have gone to my head! I have been the family photogarpher since then...

I find having this site to post photos great. Maybe the "theme assignments" and challenges will help me grow.

Favorite Photographers

Kolb Brothers, not only did they explore and photograph the Grand Canyon, they took great pictures of the visitors to the canyon and the donkeys! (And using primitive methods to develop their film)
