I had spent several days making plans for a Photo Shoot on Thursday, April 27,2006.  I had made plans for some studio shooting and out-of-doors shooting.  Things did not come to fruition.  I said to myself, "Okay, I'll take photographs of the area I was going to use, it's outside and it's a nice Spring Day and all should not be lost."  Actually, it was a nice day and after doing the photographs, I made composites and sent them to various friends and family members.  The first picture I took was of a rock that I had planned to use for the previous projectLarge Sitting Rock The rock looked good in the picture by itself.  Of course, this is the need of good background for a picture of a person.  The scene should look good by itself.
My next consideration was the Picnic Area.  Of course, it is yet to early in Michigan to consider a picnic. Picnic Area But, it is a nice area for a picnic.
There were some other scenes that I photographed.  One of them was from an old Hayloader. View from the Hayloader The type of hayloader was used in the early days in Michigan to load loose hay on the wagon for transport to the barns and haystacks.
In the Locust Grove, close by the Haylaoder, were three chairs that looked like they would make a nice Spring Day picture.Chairs under the Locusts The shadows looked good and slightly graphic as the sun showed through the chair slats and on to the grass.  The early Spring allows for the sun to shine on these chairs which it will not do once the Locust leaves have come out on the trees.
