Its been a long time since I last posted here.  These images are taken during the final stages of their creation and subsequent destruction and scattering of a mandala (intricate sand art basically...) at my university.

1 The monks walked under a grey sky.
2 The monks chant and pray.
3 The sand is poured into a nearby stream.
4 I was rather intrigued by the monks western footwear.

The pictures were shot with canon equipment on some shoddy consumer colour process black and white film that I had to bum off a friend because I left my camera bag in my room so I apologize for the grayness and mediocre image quality.
