I originally planned to spend the day at a local college making some pictures, but got sidelined by a bad cold . I consoled myself by taking pictures of my wife's lead crystal instead between sneezing fits...

I seem to be on a sunset kick this week. Tonight's sunset almost looked like embers glowing on the horizon to me - nice rich colours.

Hello to everyone from a first time poster! I took this picture the night before last at a man-made lake 15 minutes walk from my home. While I was hoping for a more dramatic sunset than what I wound up with, I'm still pretty happy with this picture. It goes nicely with this week's word so I figured I'd post it.
