I missed the synchro shot today. Just wanted to peek in to say hi anyway.
I have been down for the past few days with my knees and have not been able to get out and about. So I will REALLY enjoy everyones post. Not that I dont enjoy them anyway dont get me wrong. LOL You guys are great and I am glad you are here. : )
Ok now, have you ever seen a squirrel with no back legs climb a pole??? Well Spider squirrel can. look ma no legs!!
I am doing another spider squirrel story that I will post latter. I saw this shot and the longer I looked at it, it was clear to me that you can not see his back legs. So I had to share it with you now to see what you think.  Pretty wild.. : )

Where you feed birds you will have squirrel's. We all do, and we know how they will try their best to get to the feeders no matter how we try to squirrel prof them.
Well I have spider squirrel. First he comes up to the window and peek's in to see if the coast is clear. Then he go's up the window to make it over to the feeder. At that point he grab's the feeder to shake out some sunflower seeds. (missed that shot). Then he go's down the window.He then go's   up under the ivy to get to his sunflower seeds. He can now take his time and eat with great pride that he has got one over the human's, because he is spider squirrel !

I went down to the river walk yesterday. It was a pretty day. Lot's of people out. Here are a few that I liked the best.

I felt bad for this couple. I had been watching them for a while. He was just back from Iraq and enjoying some time with his family. The little boy was so cute he had his hair in a mohawk (sp?). Then the ranger came down and told them no fishing off the dock. I just find it hard sometimes that the simple thing's in life that soldiers can do and enjoy, after they get back from such madness they are told no.I guess rules are rules. But it still suck's..

I do not know the history of this building. I know that it has been a bar an grill and a club. I will do some research on it some day....

First I went to the post office to get my mail. I pass by this church on the way and each time I always say "one of these day's I am going to stop and take some shot's of it"
Well yesterday was the day. This is what I got.

I had fun and shot alot. I guess the traces of time on this would be that this church was totaly wiped out in 1999 when a tornado hit the downtown area of Clarksville Tn. Alot of the old building's was lost by the tornado.

So with in time we shall rise agian. And so they did.

I was trying to get a shot of some fish in one of the big tank's at the Chattanooga aquarium. The brown is a sting ray and the other are just some smaller fish.
