Some of my personal favorites.

This is a photo taken a while ago near Berea, KY after a few hours of climbing. I took this near the end of the day, when my friend decided he was going to venture to the edge. I was sitting up on another rock ledge, and he didn't know I was there until I snapped the shot. This shot was taken near Hot Springs, SD a couple of years ago. Cascade Falls is the result of a small spring. This one isn't hot though. The water is quite chilly even in July. This one is just a shot I took last summer. It's just pretty. Finally, this one is a picture I took during finals week at Christmas. I was studying very late and decided I needed a wake-up call, so I stepped out into the brisk winter air... and saw THIS! I have been photographing lightning for quite a few years now, and thought this might be a good chance to put my skills to use. Some of the shots are a little overexposed, but this one is the best.
More SUNFLOWERS

Yesterday I saw the Sunflower photo and couldn't help myself. The last few days have been dreary here in Denver, and I couldn't get over how much that photo reminded me of warm summer days with the sunflowers in bloom. My photo's were taken in my garden a few years ago. The yellow ones grew to over 11 feet tall! They were taller than the front porch of the house... it was truly amazing. The red one is acutally two pictures poorly linked together in Photoshop. But, it looks neat enough for me! (and you get the idea).
Sandswirls

Okay - here is another photo of some sand and grass that just happened to get caught in the wind and swirl to make perfect circles. This photo was taken while I was on spring break my first year of college. I had been wandering the beach looking for anything worth packing back to my dorm (sand dollars and shells), when I saw this.
Flying
While flying home from Seattle, I snapped a shot of Rainier out the window of the plane. What I didn't realize was you actually can see Mt St. Helens in the background with the blown top. Just another one of my favorite pictures from my travel archives. (And for those of you that have followed my woes regarding the scanner... I hope you like this one. I think I finally mastered the beast!)

UK
A few years ago my mom and I went to England, Scotland and Ireland. Here are a few of my favorite shots. I'm still working with the scanner to get better clarity, so for give the "Chuncks". Dooms Day
Dooms Day First I would like to Thank Cory King for the tip. I should have taken more time to read the users manuel. :O) Anyways.. with the current world situation I thought this photo would be a good post. It's one of my favorites taken towards dusk during a powerful thunder storm. I won't tell you what it reminds me of... I don't want to skew your view.
