Here are a few shots taken while kayaking recently.I would have gotten a better picture of the heron, but as I took a close up of him as he flew away...he screamed/called which sounds sort of like a cross between not quite getting your car in gear while shifting and a pterodactyl with indigestion. Anyways its call startled me so what do I do in the middle of pressing the shutter? I turn the camera around mid-click to look at my camera's lens. "Gee my camera never made that noise before!" I won't be that dumb again. hopefully.

It's been far too long since I've uploaded anything at all to Photographica. These aren't great by any means but I think I need to upload at least something in order to motivate myself to get out there and take some more pictures.
Attempted another shot at taking some decent still life shots. I think using a movable lighting source would help add some shadowy depth. But didn't, so wyah.
Gathered up a few items and placed them on the table. Discovered that I had no good way of eliminating or blocking the background images from other room and still life shots from above just didn't do much for me.
