I had the great pleasure of meeting a newborn alpaca yesterday.  I felt this little guy was a valid entry into our pain and suffering challange as alpaca mothers do not take quickly to their young.  It took hours for him to stand and find his mother and we all stood still with anticipation that she would, at the very least, not walk away from him as he explored his new world...yes, at the end of the day there was success.  :)New to this world

Once upon a time there was a set of Twins who lived on a farm with  two goats, two alpacas, and two Goldens.  They lived near  two churches, that were surrounded by  trees, and  stonewalls with daiseys. With twins to take care of often time their parents would escape to a hidden cove and enjoy seeing others at theend of their day docking their boats. Ahhhh...summertime...

Sometimes I like to just people watch.  I love to see moments in other's lives.  A laugh, a smile...a thoughtful expression.  A hug, a closeness...To know that each individual is at that very moment enjoying life just as I am.

A recent trip to the beach gave me these moments.

A toddler thinking...maybe I'll try this tomorrow.
A moment of bonding. A couple watching street musicians.

Life is happening every moment.  :)

I adore this site and am deciding to jump in and give it a whirl!  I am just now getting a chance to go through my pictures from my adventures on Memorial Day.

I woke up early and was swept away to a beautiful, virtually untouched, beach.  Seagrass Tucked away in Milford, Connecticut I found Silver Sands State Park.  I spent the better part of the day walking the beach, gathering shells, pretty rocks and sun rays.  And trying not to step on the dozens of horseshoe crabs Horseshoe Crab that were dealing with a heavy dose of spring fever.  If you get my drift.  Pun intended.

From there the next stop was Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center where I was treated to flowers, great egrets, Egret osprey, cardinals, even more rustic shoreline and swans! Swans Yes, while I was walking the shore I turned around to head back and 22 (I counted them) swans had flown in and landed in the ocean that I had just strolled by.  Nature at it's best!
