I went to old town Monrovia to take pictures of the new library and took the following pictures, the city is near the La Canada fires; you can see the smoke in most of the pictures.

Our small town tore down the old library and built a new one but they left the old tree which has been there for years. Many of us older folks have fond memories of the tree. I was at the library taking pictures of a friend that I am writing a story about and had to take a picture of the tree.
