I have been checking in and seeing all the wonderful work everyone has been doing lately. I recently took a trip to my favorite place my hometown in Illinois and as Bugaboo has already said we had a great time shooting together. About eight years ago I was visiting my "Home" in Illinois. My entire family lives there except for my mom and I. So when we get the chance to be there with everyone we always try to get everybody together at least one night and have a family dinner out. My Aunt Lee Ann a.k.a. Bugaboo a.k.a. Aunt Bee thought she had hit the jackpot this night and was ready to buy everyone's dinner. Aunt Bee I felt so sorry for her after we read it completley and found out she didn't win :( Ahhhh.... I love you so much!!! Thank you for being you and for all that you do for me and for talking me into joining you on this site with these great people. CB

of my son Melvin Shedd III Born & Died on June 8, 2006. It is true... I feel that it is the worst pain & suffering anyone can ever go through... the loss of your child.

The tree in my thumbnail was planted in his memory.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for keeping me busy this last month. I know you didn't know that's what you were doing but it was. I have enjoyed being here with all of you and I have enjoyed looking at all of your wonderful pictures. This site has been my escape from everything around me and kept my mind busy.

and I wanted to share a couple of pictures from that time with you.

This is my Mom & Grandpa. We all had a great time together it is very special when we have family come to see us because usually I only get to see them once a year (if that). We visited the birds #1 #2 while we were there and had a great time. The Red bird took to my mom 1 2 and the green one really liked my Grandma 1 2 I thought they were cute pictures.

as I was looking at everyone else's pictures I really wanted to post something too. So I broke out my negatives, sat down on the floor and was going to pick out some of my favorites to share with you. I was selective and 4 hours later I had chosen what I wanted copied on a CD from the store, but you can't just buy the CD they have to re-print them too. Well I guess you can say I have enough to keep me busy for awhile, I had no idea how many I had chosen. I was thinking around 100 or so and then sort through and weed out some.... Nope 286 to be exact and a little over $90.00 later (and copies of pictures I already have) I have something to share with you.:o)
I need a digital... I KNOW.
This one was taken at a Brooks & Dunn concert last year and a friend of mine that I work with and went to the concert with wanted it blown up and thought it was a good one to post. Hope you like it as much as she did

there is nothing better than FAMILY pictures. This is my husband's dad and his three grandchildren at Christmas time. They were all ready to go outside and play hide & go seek in there new camo!! I was going to share with you a couple more of my favorite family pictures I have taken recently but they wouldn't upload right, some other time maybe. This is the only other one that did Darren. The thumbnail is my stepdad Tom.

This is my mother-in-law's new cat. She named him "Gato". #1 He is still just a baby and full of energy. We both thought he had some unusual color eyes #2 He was very fun to photograph. Here is one I took with Black & white film #3

This deer was just out wondering around a neighborhood #1 we were driving in, so we stopped so I could take his picture.  #2

We have been doing some "major" remodeling in our very small master bathroom #1 So my husband says he has to go under the house and jack up the floor to make it level again and all I have to do is tell him when it's level. Easy enough. So I wait and see this light from a small hole in the floor#2 Of course it's REALLY HOT under there I'm sure (It's Texas) and he wants to get this done ASAP. But I had to get a few pictures to share #3 He is such a good sport #4 He thinks I am crazy but does it to pacify me.
