My partner is somewhat obsessed with daylilies. This is a new one he bought on a daylily auction website (yes, they exist...EBay for flowers) and this was actually quite expensive. I think it was worth what he paid for it. "Diamonds and Pearls"

We had a bit of sunshine last Sunday here in the Boston area and we were greeted with this. We have had rain on 12 of the last 13 days, but this cheered every one up! Sunflower

Casablanca Lily In homage to "boy"'s (who's talent I greatly admire) posting earlier today, here's Lily cliche, a Casablanca Lily from my garden. For non-gardener's, this is a massive white bloom with exquisite fragrance, a sensual delight to behold.

We have been frozen for weeks up here in Massachusetts, and tonight was looking at one my favorite shots from when it was warm and starting to work with my new Canon G2 Clematis! and this is one of the best macros I have captured since owning it. I received an 8x10 from Shutterfly yesterday, and am very happy with what that sent me.
