You're probably bored with my leftovers by now...
I almost discarded these shots from last summer, then decided there was something I liked about them.
Sara, these images aren't new, but Sandy (dragonfly) and I wanted you to know that you're in our thoughts and prayers. You're a wonderful friend and photographer, and we're so sorry to hear of your loss.

And another leftover. Not happy about the foliage in the foreground, but I'm hoping to go back and shoot some more this summer, if they haven't been towed away.
See you when I get a camera!
Not everyone's cup of tea, but had fun playing around with some old shots. Edited in Picasa2 and on dumpr.net.And a leftover shot from autumn.
A few leftover shots from the year that was. Taken between May and October of '07. Budding Seeing Double Peek-a-Boo Out to Pasture Around the Bend
There's an old Burial Mound not far from my home. It's a beautiful secluded spot, and my foster dad and I walk our dog there sometimes. He loves being off the leash for awhile Pretty Please. I find the trees even more beautiful in winter, although the lighting was poor in this one Gnarly Trees. Still, on a cold winter's day like this I can't help but dream of Summer.
I rarely experience inner peace, but it seems I'm always in search of it. Inner peace to me means being at peace with oneself, the past, the present and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. I'm not there yet, but hopefully one day I will be. A lot of people lead such busy lives there's not a moment's peace in the day, no time to think or feel, to really make use of the five senses. I feel the closest to inner peace when I'm out in the country, alone or with my dog. The wide open space, the elements, the sky, the stillness, the solitude. It is also where I feel the closest to being me, or what I can be if I just keep trying. I treasure those moments and hope to someday make a home there.
These were taken a few weeks after my school trip to the castlegrounds. The leaves were all gone by then. I apologize for the poor quality.

For Penny And some leftover shots.
Don't have the means, time or energy to take pictures right now, but who knows what'll happen in 2008? I came here knowing close to nothing about photography, I felt really young and stupid, but you've been very generous with sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm. Thanks for your encouragement and friendship, you're a great bunch!
Just stopping by to say hello. We got our first snow of the season last week. It was knee-deep in places.

Some of you may remember this tree from an earlier post of mine. Winter Morning
Went on a school trip today. Enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful surroundings, but by the time the teachers let us walk around by ourselves the Autumn Light was already beginning to fade. It was too dark to get the shots I wanted, but I managed to get this one Autumn Yellow.
