I love the way that the trees seem to beFiltering the sun 

sometimes no words can describe what you seesailing on the suns rays but it sure stays with me all day long I just close my eyes and dream ofnew beginnings Sometimes I even get a laugh or two because the image ofsponge bob catching rays comes to mind, and then on a different day will look to me like something very familar.I took all these shots last year every morning after I dropped my daughter off at school, before I went to work. I enjoyed it very much, and maybe this year at the same time I will do the sameSun sail

After I got married in March, I moved my blooming Orchard to my new home. It did not like that I moved it while in bloom and ALL the blooms withered up and died. I was so upset! About a month ago, I noticed that another shoot appeared from one of the old dead ones, and sure enough it gave me another set! After all this time, yesterday when I got home from work one of the pods opened! #1 #2 I gave it some yummy rain water that I collected from a rain storm we finally got. It seemed to have appreciated it, because when I got home from a meeting last night, it had opened some more #3 #4 #5. I couldn't wait this am to see how much more it had opened. As you can see#6 #7  I was very happy! I love watching this beautiful creations grow!

We took a walk around the block yesterday evening, and I brought my camera just in case! I am so glad I did! Found some treasures here and there, it was a lovely walk indeed!

These shots were taken over a year agoforce winds we had a tropical storm   come through New Smyrna Beach, Fl. The wind was  so hard we had a hard time standing up! Fun....but very rough on the beach~lots of erosion, much damage to beachside properties.

Here is my first port since the change! I finally figured it out! Yeaaaaa. I do like the changes now that I get it! LOL :)

I took the dragonfly photo last summer while at a convention. It was hanging from the wall at our hotel. I did not make any changes to the photo.

 

Here are some crazy blues...hope you like some are my daughters work. She did upside down, and blueshadow, but I added the tint. Her camera allows her to do the negitive effect, so bluegirl was done by her too!

Merry go round ding ding grams garden sky high wheeeee anyone for a plunge? pretty orchids on the way home

Well all, I went on my honeymoon, and our first outing was a 7 mile canoe trip. It generally takes 3-5 hours, not intended for beginners. Well, we are not beginners right?! The journey started off fairly well. I was in the back.....(first mistake) and my sweetheart was up front, paddling away, clueless that I was back there snapping photos...completely unaware that I was supposed to be stearing us...To make a long story short, this is my Fairwell shot with my beloved camera. I was about to hit a low lying branch and flipped us out of the canoe, my camera in hand, going deep into the water. He tried so hard to dry it out, but it died. Knowing how much I love photos he bought me a new one. Wasn't that sweet? New and different. I decided on a canon and I just love it. I do need to really spend some time with it and figure it out as any new toy. Here is one of the first shots I took with it of my cat Chloelook of love We didn't have much of photos of our honeymoon, but after the new camera we took our girls to Cypress Gardens and I got a few shots inpoppy Not sure if it's a poppy, but I guessed. You really have to see this tree to believe it! I grew up in Miami where Banyan Trees are prevelent, and never saw such a sight!mammoth banyan The color you see under the tree are orchids! Just breath taking! Maybe I will post some photos of the coasters we rode! Oh, please pardon a couple photos that needed cropping. I did it, but can't find them on my hard drive.needs a crop

I got married this weekend, so I have my mind back! I have taken a few shots so I thought I would share.

This is apink azalea that I planted when I first moved to my house 8+ years ago and it is in full bloom now that I am moving out! Go figure!
