    Retired Colonel, U. S. Marine Corps, infantry.  Combat operations during WWII in South  Pacific (Marshal Islands, Saipan, Tinian, Guam & Okinawa), and to China occupation after war.

    During Korean War served with 1st Bn, 1st Marines, and Division G-2.

    Photography interest most of life, got serious after retirement.

    Special interest is Marine Corps events at Camp Pendleton, CA, landscape and people, prefer candid for most part when shooting people
