Looks like I forgot something late last night when doing updates last night. Sorry! Edity edit. Edit. Edit.

You used to be able to post as many stories as you like provided you follow the unwritten rule "No more than a post a day". We'll now I've enforced this unwritten rule in Photographica itself.
From now on, you cannot publish more than one story in a 24 hour period. That means if you posted a story this morning at 10am PDT, you will not be able to post again until 10am tomorrow. During this time, you can create a draft of your story; you just will not be able to publish it until tomorrow.
Let me know if you have any questions about this new policy.

That is right, if you subscribe for a year, you'll get a brown short sleeve t-shirt for free! The catch? The quantity of shirts is limited so you better hurry.
I've only got six seven left in the following sizes:
Once you subscribe, send me a PM and I'll give you a coupon code that you can use at the shop (http://shop.mozimedia.com) to get your free shirt.
Get them while they are hot!

At 4:00pm PDT today, somebody decided to plug their brand new $20,000 refridgerator sized Cisco Router into the power provided by our data center. Rather than turning on like a good giant router, this one decided to throw a giant fireball that burned the hand of the tech who plugged it in. The UPS, which keeps the power on when the city looses power, didn't like this one bit and threw it's breaker and took down several racks worth of servers. Photographica and XLAN were on one of those racks and we lost power for about an hour.
The tech is okay, but the router sadly didn't make it.
(a couple of these are from Cisco.com... I only wish I had one of my own to take a picture of...)

Howdy All,
Hope you like the new look. If you've got bugs or any other kinds of issues with the new page, post 'em here!
Update: Enjoy the new comment layout. I'm aware that some cannot change their avatar and I'm working to fix this as we type.
Hello Everybody,
Hope you are all enjoying the many changes to this website. It has been a long road to get here, but I think it was well worth it.
Update 1:21pm PDT - Fixed for real!
I've been getting several reports that they are having trouble inserting certain images into their story. From what I understand, the photo will upload just fine but it can never get inserted into a story. I'm scratching my head as to what the problem may be.
Cheers!
Hello Everybody,
I'm pleased present a more refined update to Photographica Mobile. Photographica Mobile is a slimmed down version of Photographica. Whats new?

Have fun!
Two years ago, Photographica began voting on stories for the front page. The decision was made after many people felt that the front page was far too busy and their story was only on the front page for a short while. Voting has succeeded in slowing down the number of stories posted to the front page. In fact, it has worked all to well. Yesterday, despite more than a dozen new stories, only a single story made it to the front page.
After giving it quite a bit of thought, I've come to the conclusion that voting was a mistake and we as a community should come up with a better way to rate stories and photos. Perhaps we do not need such a thing at all and nothing is rated.
As of today, I've turned off voting for Photographica. If your story was under "new", it will now show on the front page. If your story was hidden because it did not recive enough votes, you'll find your story resurected as well. If your story is a draft, it will remain a draft until you publish it to the front page.
These are kind of old, so it is cheating in a way. You'll have to excuse it though as I'm a bit occupied making this place a better one.
These were taken with a tripod and a flashlight with a blue gel. I actually managed to use one of them as a backdrop for my homepage (http://www.coryking.com).
At long last, Photographica has many exciting new features and improvements. So, what is new?
